Who's alive and who's toast in the Daria: The Hunter Universe.

An intriguing question. Let's take a look:

We'll start with the easy ones:
Daria:
Well, duh! Main characters rarely die in these serials...

Jane:
Turned into a werewolf by Tom, she now fights at Daria's side.

Trent:
The love of shippers everywhere was turned into a vampire, and also assists Daria. But which vampire bit him? This question may become important in the future, as said vampire may have control over Trent.

The rest of Mystik Spiral:
Jesse, Max and Nick were all killed, and then brought back to life 'Dr. Frankenstein' style by Daria. So now they are 'Golems'. Can you tell the difference?
Now on to some more minor characters:

Andrea:
The 'spooky goth chick' is also a hunter and very likely survived the nuking...

Jodie:
Revealed to also be a hunter in Daria: The Hunter. Usually hunts with Mack.

Mack:
See above. It is most likely that they got out of Lawndale before it was nuked, as hunters have a warning sense that allows them to avoid such catastrophes.

Brittany:
Slaughtered, along with the rest of the cheerleading team. Their bodies were used to make a giant golem, which was slain by Daria in Daria: The Hunter. She's dead Jim!

Kevin:
Slaughtered, along with the rest of the football team (with the notable exception of Mack and the 3 J's) Their bodies were made into a giant golem...blah blah see above! He's dead, so now his body matches his brain.

Joey, Jeffy and...um. Jamie?
Although they managed to avoid the great football player slaughter, they were run over by Daria in Daria: The Hunter, then Daria blew up the mall they were in. So I'm guessing 'dead as a doornail'.

Tom:
Tom, poor dear, was slaughtered by one of his MANY haters in Daria: The Hunter. Sorry!

Upchuck:
The Chuckster turned out to be quite the evil wizard in The Castle of Count Ruttheimer, but he got beheaded by Daria. However, she didn't have time to take the head home with her and mount it on her wall, so who knows? Evil wizards have a nasty habit of coming back...
And what about the staff of Lawndale High?
Ms. Li:
The evil principal turns out to REALLY be evil, as she tries to bring an army of darkness to earth from Hell. Daria sends her plunging into the pit of hell. Satan sez: "Throw another Principal on the barbie!"

Mr. O'Neill:
He was used as a sacrifice by Ms. Li to open a gateway to hell. So I imagine he's knock, knock, knocking on heaven's door.

Ms. Barch:
Undoubtedly even MORE messed up, now that her true love was slain by a woman, Ms. Barch is just too DARN mean to be dead! She'll turn up to trouble our heroes again, just you wait and see!

Mr. DeMartino:
Too angry to die? Seems likely!

Rest of staff:
Probably dead, but who really cares?
And how about some relatives?

Aunt Amy:
Oh, yeah. She's dead. But her annoying ghost refuses to go away!

Helen and Jake:
Called to Santa Monica, California to settle Aunt Amy's estate, they managed to 'dodge the bullet' as far as being killed when Lawndale was nuked. But being the parents of a hunter can't be too safe...

Rita Barksdale
Outside of Kara Wild, does anyone really care whether Helen's sister and mom are alive or not? Or Jake's mom, for that matter? What about their cousins? WHO CARES! (ok, most of them are alive. Happy Kara?)

The Lanes:
Wind, Summer, Amanda and the rest of the Lanes are most likely still alive somewhere. It's not like they're ever IN Lawndale for long anyhow.

The Children:
And what about the children? Rachel and Evan Landon, Chris and Sam Griffin, Brian Taylor and Danny Moreno? Umm... Alive, dead, dead, dead, dead and Alive. But they're ONLY alive 'cause every hunter needs a kid sidekick!

Ramona:
Dear GOD, man! Does ANYONE even KNOW who this is? She's PROBABLY alive, as I don't think she lived in Lawndale, and not living in Lawndale is a real good way to stay alive...
And now, a look at Vampires:

Monique:
Has been slain twice now. Unfortunately, any half-assed wizard can bring a vampire back to life unless a smart vampire hunter keeps some of the remains in a vial. Then they stay dead. Monique's last slayer did just that. So maybe we've seen the last of her... but who knows?

Linda Griffin:
The QUEEN of evil, who is responsible for creating the Fashion 'Pires was slain an her remains were apparently contained by Charles Ruttheimer. However, the vial she was contained in may have been destroyed when a castle fell on it at the end of The Castle of Count Ruttheimer.

The Fashion Vampires

Quinn:
Poor Quinn has also been slain twice, and worse yet, she hardly gets any lines in these stories! What's up with that? Her remains have NOT been contained, so expect some evil wizard to bring her back any day now...

Tiffany:
Same story as Quinn.

Sandi:
Still alive, and at large, as of the end of The Castle of Count Ruttheimer.

Stacy:
Ah yes, nice, innocent Stacy. Constant portrayal as a 'goody-goody' may have driven her over the edge, and being that she is also still at large, who knows what evil Stacy may be up to in the future?
And then there's the REALLY REALLY Minor characters:

Artie:
Mr. Alien Conspiracy theory was safely away from Lawndale, doing another interview for Sick, Sad world.

Amy Starr:
Who? The red-headed reporter for Sick, Sad world with the crisp British accent. She was nowhere near Lawndale when it was nuked. But she, along with Artie, may begin an investigation to learn the truth behind this whole mess...

John "Trek-boy" Takis:
(Can you imagine someone actually ASKING for a part in these stories?) The foremost authority on aliens at Sick, Sad world and ace camera man plans to assists Artie and Amy in their quest to reveal the truth.

Mulder and Scully:
This is NOT Stranger Than Fiction OR The Simpsons but who knows where these two government agents will pop up next?

Vampire Hunter Diane Long:
This mysterious Vampire hunter from Cincinnati may pop up at any time.

Lerman:
Good question!

So that's pretty much it for the Daria: The Hunter series. This thing may be updated on occasion. Or not. Also I know that some of these characters haven't appeared in a Daria: The Hunter story... Does that mean that there will be more? I'm afraid so!
