DARIA RETURNS TO CABLE TV!
NOGGIN, THIS SUMMER!

Noggin announces "Daria" schedule!

Just got a press release from Noggin (addressed to my "webmaster" e-mail address, so I get the feeling they're hitting every "Daria" website they can find). Here's the gist:

Noggin is kicking off "Daria's" premiere on The N with a marathon showing of IIFY on Tuesday, July 2nd, from 8:00pm to 3:30am EDT (encore on Sunday, July 7th, same time span). A weeklong nightly block of episodes will run from 8:00pm to 3:00am EDT from Wednesday, July 3rd, through Saturday, July 6th.

BEGINNING MONDAY, JULY 8th, "DARIA" SETTLES INTO ITS REGULAR TIMESLOT OF 10:00pm EDT, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. (Sorry, no details on whether episodes are cut and/or have new music.)

More details to follow. I'm planning an update for tomorrow night (Wednesday), when I'll have all of this juicy info online.

If you don't have Noggin on your cable setup, you now have one month to get it. :-)

I thought it was just a rumor,...

..but somebody on the MTV Message Board said they saw some ad for reruns of Daria on Noggin. Here's the message.

CONFIRMED!!!!

I just saw the same commercial on Noggin!! It's for real and it's coming this summer.

Unfortunately the blip does not say WHEN this summer!

I have satellite television but maybe some of the cable networks carry the channel as well.

Now what?

1. TELL your friends. Tell them they'll need extended, digital cable in most areas, or satellite. That's a drag if you ain't got it, but hey, this is DARIA!

2. WRITE to Noggin via their Web site at www.the-n.com and tell them what a wonderful decision they've made. (You'll need to look for the Contact Us link at the very bottom of the page. Also, the site uses Flash 6, so you may be asked to download a plugin.)

Mention your promotion activities, and that you're getting access to Noggin (look, it's up to you to be as honest as you care to be about that part, nudge nudge), and say thank you.

This is going to be Daria Summer. We've got 96 days to really prove that Daria's got the combat-booted legs to carry her into the future. Let's all do what we can.
