DVDaria launched its first attempt at reaching the non-English-reading world on its own turf this week with the launch of "DVDaria en francias" http://www.the-wildone.com/dvdaria/french_index.html. And it's had six hits so far, and some of them went to the "Buy" page! I guess they understood my/Babelfish's translation of, "the DVDs work in your region." The next attempt is Spanish, but I won't have my (relatively weak) skills in that language to help me, as I had in French...I took three years of it, but never got much farther than "¿Donde esta el baño?" and have very little comprehension of the grammar. Luckily, I was able to avoid real clinkers in French, like: "Support for home video releases by Daria ventilators outside the United States is much stronger." Anyone willing to help break various language barriers is very welcome to chime in...I can make simplified English text files available that explain the basics of the DVDaria plan: Buy, Sign, and Write.
