Since his first appearance he has demonstrated a sort of cute, shy fondness for Andrea, which he makes no attempt to conceal. Even after she slept with Jesse Moreno (in "Hot Head, Cold Fetus"), he still hangs around her and tries to win her over as a steady girlfriend. Andrea's rebellious nature seems to intrigue him, though she makes every effort to keep herself out of a serious relationship with him. Ruth likes him (better than Andrea herself), even going so far as to set them up on a date ("Double in Paradise"), but we have yet to see Amy or Rita's take on him.
