L.L. Lurman first (and to date, last) appearance in the original Daria series was in the episode that introduced Aunt Amy herself. In "I Don't" Luhrman seemed to be a perfect match for Daria in the sarcasm and dry wit department, but was never seen again after Aunt Amy took Daria away from the wedding where they met with the promise of cheese fries.

Apparently, Luhrman never got over his infatuation with Daria. In "Crouching Lawyer, Hidden Agenda", Luhrman is depicted as a stalker, who followed Daria secretly for years (during this period of time, Luhrman managed to pick up a masters degree in chemistry). Alas, Luhrman finally gave up hope winning Daria's heart when he saw her kissing Tom in "Is It Fall Yet".

Driven by his unrequited love of Daria, Luhrman wondered north, into the arctic, and was saved by a lost Eskimo tribe, who taught him the martial art of "kodiak-tae", or "the cold hand".

Armed with "Harpo, the harpoon of the elders", Luhrman departed his adoptive tribe, and joined the eXtreme Secret Society, a group that viscously competes with Secret Society Corona belongs to for world domination. There, he takes revenge on an uncaring world by supporting international terrorism!
