Hi. Name's Andrea. Amy wanted to greet you personally, but she had to split. As usual. And she left me here with you. That's not my idea of fun either...

The Warnings...

Information used to create this site comes from various sources, including the television episodes, the Lifetime Network and The Everything Amy web sites, The Amy Chronicles by Annie Geturgun, the Amy Database by Amanda Hugenkiss, and the participants of the alt.tv.amy Usenet newsgroup and the #amy+ IRC channel.

This site persists despite personal persecution due to my belief that the needs of the fans are more important that the petty, greedy arguments about intellectual property coming from certain corners! The producers have already enriched themselves with the ad revenue generated from the television show. The Internet permits this ultimate expression of free speech! Love live the Internet!

I have seen sites that are using material has been stolen from here. This will stop! There is material here that is mine! I worked hard to produce it, and don't want it just lifted! If you want to use it, you must contact me first, get permission, and then provide credit to myself and to Outpost Amy . God, you'd think this was a charity!

Sheesh!

The Reality...

A message for the reality challenged. This is not a "real" website, but just a sick idea of a mirror site to hold all the content that came from Kara Wild's "Abruptly Amy: The Spinoff That... Was." Abruptly Amy is a collaboration of writers and artists who built the ultimate bad spin-off series. Let's face it. We've all got a least one monster of a bad story (or art) in our souls. This was the chance to exorcise that demon.

Aunt Amy, Andrea and many of the cast and characters depicted herein are from the cartoon series Daria. Daria is an MTV production, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Viacom. No one involved in this project are deluded enough to think that anyone would pay us good money for any part of this spoof.

Most of the characters have morphed beyond all commercial use anyway.

I would like to thank Martin J. Pollard for his kind permission in spoofing his excellent Daria site. The design of this site was shamelessly ripped off from the design of Martin Pollard's Outpost Daria.  Then again, we *did* ask for (and received) his blessing, so how shameless can we possibly be?  Damn conscience...

I also want to thank all of the writers and authors who threw enough material in the pot to make this "megasite" possible. And finally, the "twisted little cruller" award goes to Kara Wild, who came up with the idea, contributed the lions share of the material in the first place, managed the project, and brought us all to this time and place.

May God have mercy on all our souls.
